Apple has used its spring 2016 “Let us loop you in” event to announce a number of new bands for the Apple Watch, which incidentally is approaching its first-year anniversary.
Rather than introduce a second-generation Apple Watch, which numerous had hoped would be the case, Apple has taken advantage of the captive audience at the town Hall, Cupertino, to let the world know that those with an Apple view can now customize it even more with a number of new bands being made available for immediate purchase.
As part of an effort to bolster sales of the current Apple view without actually introducing new hardware, Tim cook has introduced a new range of Woven Nylon bands that are offered in multiple dynamic colours.
Those wanting to add a bit of vibrancy to the Apple view are now able to purchase the new nylon bands in Gold/Red, Gold/Royal Blue, Pink, Pearl, scuba Blue, royal Blue and Black for $49 each.

For those who want something a little bit much more sophisticated and a deviation from the budget look that is offered by the plastic-esque bands, Apple is also introducing a new space Black Milanese Loop.

Also available now are Apple view sport bands in new Apricot, Yellow, Light Pink, Lilac, royal Blue and Mint colors, classic Buckle bands in White, Red, Blue Jay, Midnight Blue, Marine Blue, Marigold and storm gray colors, modern Buckle bands in Red, Blue Jay and Marigold variants as well as leather loop bands in White and storm gray as part of Apple’s new spring collection.

There may not be any physical updates to the Apple view itself, but it’s good to see that Apple is at least bringing some new goodies to those Apple view fans.
The good news relating to the Apple view doesn’t end there, either. In addition to making available a number of new bands that extend the personalization options of the company’s “most personal product yet,” Apple has also chose to decrease the cost of the hardware. consumers can now purchase the Apple view sport at $50 less than before, with the 38mm casing going for $299 and the larger 42mm variant, for $349. It’s likely that the price reduction will be the start of setting the scene for the introduction of the second-generation Apple view later in the year.
