Test web Pages across Multipe Browsers with Comparium

Comparium is a new, cross-browser testing service that allows users to test web pages across all the different browsers and operating systems, in all combinations. even though the Internet browser market is mostly dominated by Chrome, it’s still not the only browser around. about 40% of the market is occupied by other browsers like Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Opera, etc. Similarly, despite the dominance of Windows, a good hare of the market also belongs to macOS and Linux.

If you’re a web developer and want to test your web pages across all the popular browsers and OS platforms, it can get tedious. even more so if your requirement is to test dozens of web pages on a daily basis. That’s where a new service called Comparium can help. The service is yet to launch though. However, the devs have a roadmap of the changes and updates they will be implemented in the next three updates after launch.

Key features Of Comparium web page Test

As the service hasn’t yet launched, we can only be sure of what the people behind it tell us. as per their plans, the first version of Comparium will be a web app. This web app will allow you to test your web page design on any operating system and browser combination. You don’t even have to try an test every browser and OS combination manually because the service does this for you automatically. To test a web page, simply submit the test address and you’ll be able to see the results. It will also provide you with screenshots of your web page design, and all of this happens supposedly in only a few minutes.

Browsers & operating Systems supported For web page test By Comparium

Browsers supported in Comparium 1.0 are Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.0, 8.0, Google Chrome 75.0, 74.0, 73.0, Mozilla Firefox 68.0, 67.0, and Safari 11.0. These browsers are also available for testing on many platforms. A browser must obviously also available on a certain platform if you want it to be tested on the said platform. For instance, Internet Explorer is only available on Windows while Safari is only available on macOS. So you can’t be testing Safari on Linux. supported operating systems include Windows 10, 7, macOS Mojave, High Sierra, and Linux.

When you submit the web page test URL you’ll also be dropping in your email address. The rest of the work including thorough testing across all supported browsers and OS platforms is done by Comparium. having your email address allows Comparium to deliver the results directly to your email when available. It’s certainly more convenient than checking up a website or page every once in a while for the results. They promise to also send you screenshots of your webpage in the email.
